This astonishing project aims to incorporate professional networking opportunities and elearning in an innovative way. The overall aim of Vine East is to develop a 'self-sufficiency' model for eleanring within each local authority, giving the end users the ability to manage their own learning in ways, and at times, that suit them best. Incorporating best of breed social networking tools, the end users will be able to communicate in ways not before seen in local government, and collaborate in an effort to reduce bureacracy, make substantial cost savings and develop collaborative approaches to staff development, member development and training.
We are proud to be making use of Moodle as a course management system, and world leading eLearning authoring software, Composica. Both tools are outstanding pieces of software, with Composica bringing a whole new dimension to collaborative authoring of elearning content.
We are also delighted to introduce the local authorities to 'TalkSpark' - our own collaboration software which is currently undergoing major re-development and structuring to ensure it is fit for the Vine East project.
